What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir photography is all about tastefully capturing someone's beauty and sensuality in a cozy and private setting. It’s all about celebrating your confidence and sexiness with stunning photos that make you feel empowered and fabulous. Think stylish lingerie or tasteful nudity, but done in a classy and artistic way. It's about feeling comfortable in your skin, striking some killer poses, and ending up with awesome photos that you'll cherish forever!

What is the reason people do a boudoir shoot?

There is no right reason to do a boudoir shoot. Whether you are looking for the perfect gift for your partner or just yourself I will make sure you love the images your get back and have an enjoyable and memorable experience. Many reasons include weddings, anniversaries, birthdays etc,.

Does is matter that I’ve never posed or modeled before?

Absolutely not! I am here as a photographer and a guide. I will pose you head to toe and make sure your pictures turn out amazing and highlight all of your best features!

What should I wear to my session?

There are so many options for outfit choices to bring to a session including bodysuits, two or three piece sets, jerseys, t-shirts, or your partners clothing and accessories. Your outfit could even be nothing at all!

Should I have my hair and makeup done?

I highly recommend having your hair and makeup as well as your nails before a session! I am happy to recommend artists in the area that I know and trust to provide you with high quality services for your shoot.

Should I fake tan?

I strongly suggest that you do not fake tan before a session. Regardless of how bronzed and glowy you may look in person, the camera may pick up something very different.

Should I shave or wax prior to my photoshoot?

If you prefer to shave or wax, then I do suggest maintaining your regular hair removal routine before coming in.

Do you shoot plus-size clients?

Absolutely! I am experienced shooting all body types.

Can you retouch my photos?

All photos shot with Rev will be fully edited and retouched before they are delivered to you!

How will I get my photos?

I will deliver all fully edited photos from your session to you in a secure online gallery.

What format can I receive my photos in?

In addition to an online gallery, you are able to receive purchased images via my app, album, book, metal art, or paper print. If you are looking for specialty formats I am happy to look into those as well, (i.e. viewfinders, calendars).

Can I buy a gift card for a session or print credit?

Yes! You are able to buy print credit or gift cards for a loved one! Please reach out via phone or email to purchase.

What is your turn around time?

It will take 3-6 weeks to receive the link to your online gallery. I am flexible with time constraints so do not hesitate to bring up closer deadlines if need be.

Do you have clothing/props I can use or borrow?

I do not currently provide a client closet, but am happy to offer consulting and advice on what to bring or wear.

Do you shoot at custom locations?

I can shoot in custom locations, specifically if you request a specialty session using a prop that requires shooting in an outside location such as a car or motorcycle. These sessions are add-ons to a Signature or Revel session and are listed as ‘Specialty Mini’ sessions. Please reach out and I will be happy to open that availability for you!

What areas do you serve?

I currently serve Northern Colorado and shoot in Fort Collins. I also offer sessions in Asheville, North Carolina per request. You can view my availability via my instagram, booking link, or email me for information on scheduling.

Do you shoot male boudoir?

Male boudoir sessions are not something I offer at this time.

Do you offer couples sessions?
